Frontier has announced the launch of its new UX Pine Trail Netbook which is now available for purchase in Japan. The new Frontier UX netbook comes equipped with a 10-inch LCD display with a 1024×600 pixel resolution and it also gets a 6-cell battery that provides up to 6.4 hours of operation time.

The new Frontier UX Pine Trail Netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Pine Trail N450 processor, it has a 320GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium OS pre-installed. The body of the device measures 10.4-inch x 7.6-inch x 1.5-inch and weighing about 2.9 pounds making it not a difficult device to carry around.

As a netbook, the UX Pine Trail Netbook comes with a DVD drive which enables the user to enjoy movies while on the go. The device also comes with a few other specifications including a card reader, a microphone, Ethernet port and a 802.11b/g/ WiFi connectivity. The Frontier UX Pine Trail Netbook is now available in Japan for the price of 59800 Yen which is approximately $644.
