In addition to the D220W Wireless Speaker, Creative also announced the T12 Wireless 2.0 Speaker System in Singapore, the latest to Creative’s Pure Wireless Speakers family. The T12 features BassFlex technology that extends the low frequency and improves the bass response without the need for a subwoofer. It utilizes Bluetooth wireless technology which enable the speakers to produce wireless music playback from any Bluetooth-enabled devices such as Mobile Phones, Notebook, iPod and other Bluetooth Wireless devices.

The T12 Wireless 2.0 also features apt-X audio codec for superior Bluetooth stereo audio and offers a High quality wireless audio transmission. Creative also announced alternate ways to pair the device with the iPod or using USB with either the iPod Transmitter (BT-D5) or the USB Transmitter (BT-D1). Both the USB Transmitter (BT-D1) and the iPod Transmitter (BT-D5) are currently available for purchase as individual accessories at the suggested retail price of S$59.00 each, while the Creative T12 Wireless 2.0 Speaker System goes for a retail price of S$129.00.

Creative has a new Wireless Speaker System coming in the Q4 of 2010 by the name of the Creative D220W Wireless Speaker. The speaker features a soundbar style design, it comes with the Sound Blaster Wireless transmitter that connects to your desktop or notebook using a USB port. It features “state-of-the-art amplifiers and precision drivers”, which are “encased in a highly braced single shell chassis and engineered to minimize distortion.

The included Sound Blaster Wireless transmitter can also streams music to other Creative wireless speaker such as Sound Blaster Wireless Headphones and other device. The D220W is also compatible with Mac Systems as well and using either the MacBook, MacBook Air, iMac or PC you can listen to your music library on your favorite player, such as iTunes, or your favorite Internet streaming program, like Pandora, without having to transfer your entire music library to a new system and new interface, as required by some other whole-audio systems.

Motorola has announced its new Defy Rugged Android Smartphone that meets IP67 standard, which makes it waterproof, dustproof and scratch resistant. The handset is expected to be released in Europe by the end of 2010. It is powered by a 800MHz OMAP 3610 Processor, 512MB of RAM and Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR UI, plus it only supports WCDMA/HSDPA 900/2100 and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks instead of CDMA.
